By using the CyberAlberta Job Board, you understand and agree that:
Eligibility
All job posting submissions shall be screened for eligibility by the Government of Alberta prior to the job appearing on the CyberAlberta Job Board.
In order for a job to be eligible to be posted on the CyberAlberta Job Board the role must be related to cybersecurity and must be based in Alberta. Remote positions where the majority of work is applied outside of Alberta may be declined as ineligible.
The Government of Alberta, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to decline any submission it deems ineligible, offensive, discriminatory, illegal or otherwise inappropriate. Furthermore, the Government of Alberta reserves the right to require a submission be revised or edited for clarity before it is posted.
Use
By submitting a job to the CyberAlberta Job Board, you agree that you are authorized to submit the information and that it is accurate and correct.
If you are representing an employer as a consultant, agent, friend or other third-party representative, you must obtain the employer’s permission to make a job submission on the employer’s behalf, and provide the name and email address of the person providing such permission. The Government of Alberta may contact the person directly to confirm you are an authorized representative .
Applications
All applications, screening, interviews and other steps related to the hiring process shall be facilitated outside of the CyberAlberta Job Board between the employer and job seeker directly. The Government of Alberta will not accept any applications on behalf of an employer and shall not facilitate any communications between employers and job seekers. All steps related to the hiring process are the responsibility of the employer and job seeker as applicable.
The Government of Alberta makes no promises or representations regarding CyberAlberta Job Board user volume, likelihood of applicants or responses, or potential numbers of applicants or responses.
Removal of Postings
The Government of Alberta may immediately remove job postings in the following circumstances:
- the posting violates these terms of use;
- there is inaccurate, incorrect or outdated information in the posting;
- for any other reason that it reasonably considers could affect the safety of job seekers and their information;
- to protect the integrity of the CyberAlberta Job Board.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
By using the CyberAlberta Job Board, you agree to do so at your own risk.
The CyberAlberta Job Board, and information on it, are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or other violation of rights. The Government of Alberta makes no warranties regarding the use, accuracy, timelines, applicability, performance, security, availability or reliability of the CyberAlberta Job Board.
The Government of Alberta has no control over how third parties use any of the information posted on the CyberAlberta Job Board and disclaims all liability with respect to how such information is used.
The Government of Alberta does not perform any screening, evaluation, or other review of job seekers or applicants. All interactions between employers and job seekers that arise as a result of the operations of the CyberAlberta Job Board are at the parties’ own risk.
The Government of Alberta will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the CyberAlberta Job Board.
